Inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ICDI actively implement the SDG13 “Climate Action”
Established in 2015, International Climate Development Institute (ICDI) is a non-profit organization. Our core value addresses the right to development under climate change. We also aim to fulfil the developmental needs for adaptation, transition, and capacity building in face of climate change.
We provide professional knowledge and skills on climate governance, this think tank engages in planning and implementing national climate policies through the PPP approach; we also support local communities and vulnerable groups on capacity building to achieve climate resilience and sustainability.

Fulfil the Human Right of Development via Climate Action
From civil organisations to governments, the international community has been inspired by the UN SDGs. The co-founders of ICDI put their faith in this organisation, to form a group of believers in sustainable development as well as long-term participation in climate change negotiation. ICDI has decided to take SDG13 as its guiding principle, to fulfil developmental rights via climate action.
ICDI incorporates members of industry, governments, academia, and civil society in decision-making processes. Since its establishment in 2015, the organisation aims to foster international participation and networking, cross-discipline cooperation to form strategies to combat climate change, and the production of climate projects along with talent cultivation.
