Companies plan shift to green energy despite Trump-era rollbacks, survey shows

近期一項涵蓋15個國家、針對企業高層的調查顯示，在近1,500位中大型企業高階管理者中，有超過一半表示，有計畫在五年內將營運據點遷至更容易取得 #再生能源的地點，也幾乎所有受訪者都支持在長期脫離 #化石燃料，進行能源轉型。

這項調查是在美國川普總統上任後進行，川普回歸引發企業可能撤回對綠色轉型承諾的擔憂。調查由氣候變遷智庫E3G 與氣候倡議組織 Beyond Fossil Fuels、We Mean Business Coalition 共同委託進行，自去年12月至進行至今年2月。受訪對象包括來自美國、英國、德國、巴西和印度等的，各國約100位企業高層。

調查發現，超過3/4的企業支持在2035年以前建立以再生能源為基礎的電力系統，並認為再生能源有助於提升能源安全。若本國市場缺乏綠能，有52%的受訪者表示會在五年內遷移營運據點，有九成的企業將取得再生能源列為「投資選址」時的首要考量。更有高達93%的受訪者表示，他們正考慮投資自建再生能源設備。

台灣永續能源研究基金會最新「電力使用與能源轉型民意調查」指出，八成民眾支持發展綠能。而KPMG針對高階管理者所做的「2024年臺灣永續風險大調查」表示超過八成企業認知永續風險會衝擊其核心競爭力。然而，倡議組織RE100「2024台灣再生電力市場報告」提到，在台灣的會員普遍認為綠電市場供應量不足，採購再生電力面臨挑戰。

許多調查都顯示企業有高度意願使用再生能源，然而民眾的意見未必趨同。皮尤2024年中針對美國民眾調查指出，民眾對光電與風電支持度有逐年下降趨勢；不同政黨支持者之間，支持度差距也越來越大。甚至會有民眾普遍支持，但對再生能源設備仍有鄰避情節；或是因政黨偏好不同反對再生能源，這些都是可能影響政府政策的因素。

More than half of nearly 1,500 business leaders of medium and large companies plan to relocate their operations within five years to better access #renewable sources, a survey carried out across 15 countries has found, and almost all of them backed a long-term shift away from #fossilfuels.

Green think-tank E3G commissioned the research alongside climate-focused groups Beyond Fossil Fuels and We Mean Business Coalition. The poll was carried out between December and February. The findings were based on interviews with about 100 C-suite executives from each of the countries since Donald Trump was voted back into the White House, which has triggered concerns about companies backing away from their commitments to a green transition. The countries included the US, UK, Germany, Brazil and India.

More than three-quarters of businesses surveyed supported a shift to a renewables-based electricity system by 2035 or sooner. Some 52 per cent of those polled said they would move their operations. nine out of ten said access to renewables-based electricity was a “top priority” when weighing up potential destinations for new investment. As many as 93 per cent of those polled said they were considering investing in their own on-site renewable facilities.
